The Parklands Motel complex overlooks the Te Anau Memorial Gardens and you can walk through this to the town centre (5-10mins – 300m) for supermarkets, restaurants and shopping. 150m walk to the Fiordland Community Events Centre, 300m walk to the Fiordland Medical Centre, 400m from the lake.

Te Anau Activities
There is so much to do in Te Anau! The motel is just 400m from the lake and a 300m walk through the Te Anau Memorial Gardens to the town centre. There are day trips to Milford and Doubtful Sounds, glowworm cave trips, with pick-up from the motel for most trips. There is also cruising on Lake Te Anau, day walks, an 18-hole golf course, horse treks, quad bike tours, scenic flights, fishing, mini golf, vintage machinery museum, bike hire, full bore (shooting and driving simulator) and an indoor community market (usually held on the last Saturday of the month). Most activites can be booked at the Motel free for your convenience
