Shona and Gary welcome you to our motel in Te Anau. We are happy to help you with information for trips, walks and any tour bookings. We offer 20 clean and comfortable units, suitable for 1 to 4 persons.
We are ideally placed in Te Anau overlooking the Te Anau Memorial Gardens. You can walk through the Gardens to the town centre (5-10mins walk or 300m) for supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and shopping and we are just 400m from the lake.
There is so much to do in Te Anau!
Choose from a day trip to Milford or Doubtful Sound and enjoy a nature cruise (pick-up from the motel is available for most of these trips). Explore magical glowworm caves after a short scenic cruise across the lake.
This area is renowned for the multitude of tracks and trails you can explore – choose a lake walk, bushwalk or just find a spot to listen to the birdlife. Te Anau has an 18-hole golf course, horse treks, quad bike tours, scenic flights, fishing, mini golf, vintage machinery museum, bike hire and an indoor community market.
